2026 Update
2026 has been a year of growth, community, and expanding our impact.
This year, Ground-Up Foundation has continued to grow both our work in Tanzania and our presence here at home. Our mission remains centred around creating meaningful and lasting change for students and communities, while finding new ways to expand the support we provide.
In Tanzania, our commitment continues beyond installing water tanks. Alongside maintaining our 30 existing tanks, our 31st project focuses on improving school infrastructure. This includes classroom repairs, painting, roofing, windows, and ventilation to help create safer, more comfortable places for students to learn. See the project photos and explore our impact.
Here in Alberta, 2026 has also been an exciting year for community involvement. We partnered with the Alberta Cup Volleyball Tournament and participated in a Chuck-A-Puck fundraiser at an Edmonton Oil Kings game, helping us connect with more people, raise awareness, and bring our community together in support of our mission.
As we continue through 2026 and beyond, our goal is to build on what we have accomplished by supporting both access to clean water and stronger school infrastructure. We believe creating lasting impact means not only providing essential resources, but also helping build environments where students have greater opportunities to learn and grow.
None of this would be possible without our donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who continue to believe in what we do. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped us continue growing our impact.
With the sincerest gratitude, thank you.
We look forward to continuing to share our journey with you.
